CHIROPRACTIC
Chiropractic is an evidence based, non-invasive, hands-on health care discipline that focuses on the neuromusculoskeletal system. Chiropractors are trained to assess, diagnose, educate and provide treatment for a variety of conditions arising from the muscles, joints and nerves.
The main treatment technique used by chiropractors is the chiropractic adjustment. This is a safe, gentle technique used following a thorough assessment of the spine and joints.
When an adjustment is performed, the joints are moved through a normal range of motion, often making a “popping” sound as the fluid pressure within the joint changes. This technique is not only used on the spine but can be used for any joint in the body.
