For most of our services, a referral is generally not necessary. Certain insurance companies, however, will require a doctors referral for reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider to determine if a referral is necessary prior to your appointment.

Chiropractic services are covered by the majority of private health insurance plans. The specific amount of coverage will vary depending on your plan (i.e. 80% vs 100% coverage), so check with your insurance carrier to confirm. This is also the case for Massage Therapy and Acupuncture.

The number of sessions is always your choice, but based on your unique goals (such as pain relief, or injury management), your symptoms, history and physical assessment, our practitioners will recommend a specific treatment plan to achieve your goals. For optimal tissue health benefits, some people will book regular maintenance appointments, similar to regular dentist visits.

Yes, we treat athletes ranging from weekend warrior to university, professional and Olympic athletes.

Yes, we provide treatment for injury management following a motor vehicle accident and can direct bill to most motor vehicle insurance companies.

It is recommended that you wear something loose and comfortable so that you can move and bend freely. You may also bring a change of clothes (t-shirt and shorts/sweat pants) if this is easier. We can typically work around most outfits if you do happen to forget a change of clothes, so don’t worry!

There is typically little to no pain involved with a chiropractic adjustment. Often times, patients experience immediate relief following an adjustment. In some cases, patients may also experience some minor soreness following the visit, very similar to when you start a new exercise program and your muscles and joints aren’t used to the new activity yet.
